• As everyone says - this is a perfect cottage. So comfortable to come back to after walking in the Dales. We saw red squirrels on the squirrel trail at Snaizeholme. We enjoyed a 6 mile walk from Yockenthwaite to Cray (White Lion) and back via Hubberholme.

• We had an absolutely fantastic few days as the first guests in The Dairy. Stunning holiday cottage - a testament to months and months of hard work, passion and attention to detail. Amazing to be the first provider in the Dales of accommodation to guests with various disabilities - a real achievement. The wet room shower is gorgeous along with the extra comfortable bed.! • From the warm welcome to the wave ‘cheerio’ this has been a wonderous break in a property that oozes charm & sophistication. CUSTOMER SERVICE: Absolutely first class. The support was there whenever we needed it but we were not bombarded. We knew we only had to ask. FACILITIES: Electric profile bed, shower chair on wheels, you name it...! we could have it. Never before have I seen such a stylish truly accessible layout. • Still can't believe our luck in getting to stay at The Dairy again - and this time for a full fortnight. This time we enjoyed tea at Betty's in Northallerton, afternoon tea at Tennants, fish and ships at the famous Sea View in Saltburn (worth queueing for) and 2 lunch at the Wensleydale Heifer - all truly delicious. Cock-a-hoop to see that the Bake Well at Askrigg is opening another bakery in Bainbridge in April. Thank you Diane & Andrew for all that you do and al that you think of. • We spent a wonderful and relaxing 10 days in this beautiful and cosy new cottage. We had a very warm welcome by Diane even though we arrived quite late in the evening. Everything about the cottage was absolutely perfect and even beyond our expectations. We had the opportunity to try several of the many given recommendations : walking Malham Cove and Pen-y-Gent, visiting the Cheese Festival, Black Sheep Brewery, Bolton Abbey, Bolton Castle, Fountains Abbey .... and having dinner at the Bolton Arms in Redmire. • Firstly, if you are a runner ... there is a very good 6.5K run - down to the main road, turn right & down to West Burton, through, and take the left option as you go round the bend, keep going over the bridge, take the left route/track and follow the path to Thoralby, through the village and back to the road, turning right up to the Street Head pub, turn left down the lane and left to be back. The fixed price lunch at the Wensleydale Heifer was absolutely delicious and a real bargain for such fine dining. We had a lovely drive across the Dales for market day at Skipton one day & met friends lunch in Tennants the next. • Our second visit to Cottage in the Dales to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. The first being Neil's 60th when we stayed in The Byre. Lovely warm welcome from Diane and the 'usual' but five star complimentary gifts and groceries!! The accommodation really does live up to the 5 star + reputation and we loved staying in The Dairy this time - it is so beautiful furnished & so well equipped. Recommend the Wensleydale Heifer for a special meal - not cheap but very, very good food and service - sea bass pa kara - wonderful!! We will be back again in a year or two.

• Our third visit to The Dairy and another wonderful holiday experienced in such a beautiful cottage surrounded by amazing views. We really appreciate all the additional equipment available making the holiday far more stress free. Had a lovely day at Newby Hall & Gardens which is very wheelchair/scooter accessible. Also recommend Sunday lunch at Tennants. Enjoyed an amazing two hour trike tour (Yorkshire Trike Tours) experiencing breathtaking scenery. My husband has MS & very poor mobility was given every assistance required to physically get on the trike to enjoy this.
